Meet Your New Favorite Tune Shop
Board Doctor was started by Christopher DiMiceli to serve NYC’s community of riders who live for their days on snow but don’t always have time to handle the tune shop run. From park laps to pow days, his mission is simple:

Now, you can access Board Doctor’s premium tuning service directly through OvRride on select trips all season.
How It Works
- End of your trip
When you roll back into the city, your OvR trip lead will check you in for the bus and ask if you’d like to add Board Doctor Tuning & Delivery.
- Quick Checkout & Tagging
If you’re in, your trip lead will help you check out for the service on our site and tag your equipment. You only need to leave your skis or snowboard — you’re welcome to take your boots with you (or leave them with your gear if that’s easier).
- We Take It to the Workshop
When you get off the bus, you’ll leave your gear with the OvR staff. Our team links up with the OvR bus at its last stop, grabs all tagged gear, and brings it to the Board Doctor workshop at 544 Park Ave, Brooklyn for tuning.
- Delivery or Pick-Up – Your Choice
Once your equipment is tuned, our team will reach out to schedule your home delivery or arrange a pick-up time at the shop — whatever works best for you.
Turnaround: typically 3–5 days for tuning, always under 7 days including delivery.

What does the service include?
Each tune includes a hot wax, edge sharpen, and home delivery (or pick-up if you prefer).
How much does it cost?
The Board Doctor tune is a flat $85 (USD).
How long does it take?
Tuning usually takes 3–5 days. Delivery depends on your availability, but you’ll always have your gear back within 7 days.
Can I pick my equipment up instead of having it delivered?
Absolutely. The price stays the same — and we’ll donate the delivery portion of your order to a charity that takes kids from NYC snowboarding.
Do you offer repairs?
Yes. If your board or skis need extra love, check out with the OvR Package 1 and then contact us directly for repair options and pricing.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to all of NYC. There is an additional fee for The Bronx and Staten Island deliveries.
