New York Ski Destinations

We love New York. And We Ski New York.

Did you know that New York State has more ski areas then any state in the country? And starting with the 2019/2020 season we’re runnning buses to no fewer than five destinations?

Hunter

Our home away from home

Hunter Ski Bus Trips

If it’s a local mountain with big fun that you’re looking for, then it’s Hunter you want. Come check out NYC’s local mountain and the most frequented mountain in the Catskills. By terrain, elevation, and reputation, Hunter MT qualifies as the closest “big mountain” to proximity to NYC on the East Coast.

With the addition of it’s high speed 6-pack chair, long lift lines have become a thing of the past. You can cruise “The Belt Parkway”, rip down “East Side Drive”, or head into the park and get some. Let’s not forget the Hunter MT Apres scene that kicks off at 3pm, often including great energy, live music and an attentive staff like no other in the mountains.

Get on the OvRride ski bus to Hunter from NYC every Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday!

Windham

Updates and investments galore make this a location to go above & beyond!

Add to that, lodge makeovers the new trails they’ve cut and you’ve got a whole new look on and off the slopes. Windham now features one of the only true glades trails in the Catskills! Belleayre NYC Bus Trips

The Catskills just keep getting better, and we’re always looking to bring the best of of the bunch to the NYC Snow Scene. Are you looking to get higher, faster, further? Enter Belleayre, with some of the most vast mountain improvements we’ve ever seen, this Catskills mainstay is starting to rise to the top. After all, it is the highest resort in the Catskills.

No doubt, their quick ascension is in part due to their new gondola, the only gondola in the area, THE THUNDER! For years, weekenders have complained about crowding and lift lines… but not so much at Belleayre where The Thunder Gondola hits an uphill capacity of 2000 riders and skiers per hour, while also offering foot passengers a lift to scenic views from the mountain top.

Belleayre Mountain is the highest ski resort in the Catskill Mountains. With 1,045 meters, it has the highest ski slope and the highest ski lift in the Catskill Mountains.

Enjoy your winter with a trip to OvRride Belleayre. 50 trails, parks and glades, a vertical drop of 1,404 feet, 8 lifts and 4 lodges (including the brand new this season Discovery Lodge… whether you’re a beginner or an expert you’ll find good times! Whiteface

Get Olympic! A Ski Trip Weekend not to be missed!

Whiteface Ski Trip

You may have heard the legend, but have you experienced it? There’s a reason why Lake Placid and Whiteface hosted one of the world’s most famous winter olympics, right here in New York!

Over the past few years a whole new face has found a home in the Adirondacks. Whiteface boasts the greatest vertical of any lift-serviced mountain in the Northeast, mile after mile of impeccably groomed cruising trails, 98% snowmaking coverage, chutes (known as the slides), a 5-star ski and snowboard school and diverse, amenity-rich ski towns surrounding it.

Discover or rediscover Whiteface, the self proclaimed best ski experience the East has to offer. Hard to argue when you hear the stats… Whiteface offers more of everything: more snowmaking, more inspiring expert terrain, more long, rolling groomers, including the longest single intermediate run in the Northeast, the 2.1-mile long Wilmington Trail; more learning, more adventure, more fun, more off-mountain attractions you can’t find anywhere else. Hello bobsledding down an Olympic track, groomed Nordic skiing, bar crawl on ice skates across the lake, dog sledding, curling, and a three story high sled track that shoots you out onto Mirror Pond (frozen of course).

Lake Placid could be it’s own trip, but when you join us for the Whiteface Lake Placid Special President’s Weekend – you’ll get it all. You can stroll through the lakeside Olympic village. We’ll even be putting together a couple daily runs to check out local, but slightly remote Olympic sites like the insane ski jump and the bobsled track. We’ll be spending 4 days on site so you can take it all in, including an Olympic passport granting access to all the premium sites.

Join us on the OvRride Ski Bus and learn why we’ve found a new home for our Annual February Presidents’ Day ski trip!
