Bolton Valley Description:
The Bolton Valley Special Chill TakeOvR Weekend is here!
Our friends at The Chill Foundation are taking over Vermont's best kept secret, Bolton Valley. We'll be shutting down the whole mountain for a TakeOvR with proceeds going to support Chill, so hell, why not make a full weekend out of it with a visit to Burlington and 3 days of shred for a great cause?! #DONTMISSTHETAKEOVR
Check out last year's Chill TakeOvR video to peep all the action.
All proceeds from sales of Chill TakeOvR lift tickets go directly towards helping the Chill Foundation inspires youth to overcome challenges through boardsports.
Although the highlight of the weekend is the Chill TakeOvR, Bolton Valley, sitting high in the Green Mountains of Vermont, is a prime east coast destination. It is a unique, high mountain alpine village surrounded by over 5,000 pristine acres. At Bolton Valley the recreational opportunities are as numerous as the views are spectacular. Whether your interest during the winter is skiing or snowboarding, telemark or Nordic, backcountry skiing, splitboarding, night skiing and riding, or just a relaxing snowshoe in the woods, Bolton Valley has it all in abundance.
Boasting the highest base elevation in the northeast at 2,100 ft, Bolton Valley gets plenty of snowfall with an average of 312 inches of the white stuff annually. A vertical of drop of 1,704 ft means more time on the snow and less time sitting on chairlifts.
Looking to get a few more turns in before we head back to NYC? Our bus is will be rolling out at 1pm on Monday so you'll have plenty of time to get a half day on the slopes before we hit the road. And if your legs just aren't feeling it, all rooms will have late checkout included so you can enjoy a lazy morning sleeping in.
Come see why this Indy Pass destination is on everyone's list!
