It’s that time of year again – when the cold hits the city, the snow gods get their dance orders, and the NYC shred fam comes together to launch another epic winter.
Our Annual OvR Season Kickoff Party is more than just a gathering – it’s a full-on tradition. From raffles and giveaways to snow films and mountain vibes, it’s the night where the community reconnects and gets hyped for trips, turns, and powder days ahead.

Every year, as the snow guns fire up and white starts to cover the ground, we celebrate in NYC. You know our favorite mountains are already prepping for our arrival on our first trips of the year, will join us at Stratton, Killington or one of our international trips? We sign up for all of them!
For this occasion, we’re proud to celebrate with support benefiting Chill, one of our favorite not-for-profit area organizations. Chill Foundation inspires young people through board sports and builds a more equitable outdoor community. Chill has served more than 30,000 youth globally since 1995. Proceeds for the season kickoff party will be donated to this great organization to help spread the shred to those who need it most.
