Spring is in full effect and it’s bringing the right kind of weather with it. I know it’s hard to believe as things begin to warm in the city, but it is snowing at every mountain OvRride frequents all week long.

The weather is just in time for Springfest 2011. There are a series of salutes and celebrations going on in the next few weeks at all our favorite mountains. Here’s the schedule for this weekend:

Springfest Weekend at Sugarbush

If you haven’t checked out Sugarbush VT yet this season this is a great opportunity to get onboard the Sugarbus. Springfest at the Bush comes with pond skimming, bar events, raffles, giveaways and non-stop live music.

Rep Your Crew in a jam session alongside food, drink, music, raffles, giveaways, and good times. Featured will be a slope style contest in the park. Our judges will dwindle down competing crews or 2 and finalists will be medaled and prized appropriately.

Sunday: Mount Snow Reggaefest

This annual spring celebration has grown to epic proportions each year as over 5,000 people witnessed guests dressed in costumes skimming ponds, sliding on cardboard, and some great reggae music all in our base area. Live Reggae music kicks things off and continues all day Sunday on Cuzzins Deck.
