The last 2 weeks have been hands down some of the most fun I’ve had this season, strapped into a snowboard. I’ve ridden in fresh powder in late march, sunny skies and with some of my favorite people.
We hit Sugarbush III with avengence, getting there right after a week of snow that accumulated to over a foot. The crew was all over the mountain, but shred the trees and the park mostly, and even discovered some backside action on Mt Ellen that was something kinda epic.
Hunter hosted the Nike 6.0 Rep Your Crew Slopestyle Jam last Saturday. Again, we had the good luck of snow the day before we got there. On the drive up, the clouds part, the sun comes out, and the day we were expecting to have mixed participation and cool weather, is replaced instead with a beautiful, blue-bird sky and hoodie day! Exactly what we need to have the slopeside BBQ and beer on the deck at Park Ave park. Three bus loads of some of the most fun shredders in NYC were there. Definitly good times, with great people… Thanks to Nike 6.0 and Lagunitas of course.
Up next Brew Fest at Mt. Snow, Hunter Spring Fest pond skimming… there’s plenty of time to take advantage of the amazing spring season we’ve got.
