Back to spring POW Days!!! Get up and enjoy this weekend’s spring storm, or the only April Fool’s Joke is going to be on you! With over a FOOT of fresh snow scheduled to arrive this weekend in Vermont, and 6-10″ in the Catskills, we’re extending the on-snow season into the next few weeks of April! The way things are shaping up, this spring just might see more snow than this past winter! So much for “In like a lion and out like a lamb”… This April’s ROARING so join us and GET AFTER IT!!!

As some of the local area resorts prepare to pack it in for the season, you know you can count on a few local heroes. This week Hunter Mountain went into snow preservation mode, even closing midweek to be sure they’d be holding the snow for the weekend. With the Friday blast they’re now expecting, Saturday’s looking like a straight powder day! MT Snow’s getting a big forecast with snow from Friday evening straight through our first MT Snow Sunday of April! Then of course there’s Killington… The Beast In the East… The self proclaimed “Superstar Glacier” has already received enough snow to push our east coast season into May. Now with over a FOOT of Fresh Snow scheduled to hit Friday night, there’s a reason to get up and jump on that early bus to the mountain!

Perhaps there’s no case more evident for Spring Snow then our annual excursion out to Snowbird for the Annual Utah Red-Eye Weekend 4/21-23. So far, in the 5 year’s we’ve been heading out to Snowbird in April, we’ve appreciated fresh snow and fresh lines every time!
