Join us for a global day of snowboarding to celebrate the legacy of Jake Burton Carpenter.
In honor of Jake, the OvR Family & our Burton NYC Family are headed to the mountains to represent NYC on March 13, 2020. Shred family across the globe will be headed to the hills to celebrate all that Jake and snowboarding has given us. Register below to join us for the day or for the weekend. Get out get out and ride! Jake’s vision was to bring snowboarding to all. His dream, his perseverance and his generosity were his gift to the world. As an industry, and as a community we come together for this day to remember, reflect and ride. Together we open our doors and open our hearts to carry Jake’s spirit forward; to share our love of the mountains and the joy of a perfect turn. Because snowboarding makes us happy. Snowboarding makes us hopeful. Snowboarding makes us free.

At 1pm across all the east Burton Shred Family will be assembling to take a pic to honor the spirit of Jake’s vision. Our Windham day trip will be meeting for the pic at the top of the mountain. Our weekend trip, right in front of the Burton NYC Store.
Our crew will be on hand helping raise funds for the Chill Foundation, the nonprofit organization Jake founded to help send at risk youth to the mountains.
After Jake’s passing, in lieu of flowers or other forms of support, contributions were asked to be made to the Chill Foundation. We ask you to continue that support in Jake’s memory.
