Vans Snow celebrated 20 years in the snowboard industry this October and OvR was fortunate enough to be invited. A special thanks is in order to Larry Nunez of Vans Snow, House of Vans in Brooklyn, and the entire Vans team for putting together this epic event. And for those that do not know the Vans team, here are a few names: Pat Moore, Andreas Wiig, Phil Jacques, Eric Willett, Iouri Podladtchikov, Darrell Mathes, Hana Beaman, Cheryl Maas, Jamie Lynn, and Zac Marben.
Th night was full of free drinks from Old Smoky Tennessee Moonshine and Genesee beer, food from Korilla and Morris Grilled Cheese, art and photography, and kick ass music from Jamie Lynn and Zac Marben as well as King Tuff. On top of all this greatness Vans showcased their 20th Anniversary Collection of boots and outerwear as well as an exclusive Vans Snow 20 Year Retrospective video produced by Standard Films.
It was a sight to see industry people, snowboard pros, artists, musicians, and fans all enjoying the grand world of Vans Snow. Thank you Vans for all the work and progression you have done for this amazing sport we all love. Here’s to another 20 years of greatness.
